Is The Bible A Fictitious Conspiracy

Some have proposed that the Bible is just the invention of men. However such a theory of human conspiracy is ruled out by the vast time span involved. Not only would such a conspiracy require someone who could make up the fictitious story, it would require legions of actors and civilizations to act out the story in history. No human conspiracy could supervise such a 1,500-year project.

The Bible was written by men from all walks of life including kings, peasants, herdsmen, tax collectors, philosophers, statesmen, fishermen, poets, and scholars. It uses various literary forms such as history, poetry, proverbs, preaching, prophecy, parables, allegories, biography, drama, exposition, law, and letters.

The Bible towers above all other books as the all-time best seller in history. Over 40 authors combined to write the 66 books found in the Bible. It was written over a span of 1,500 years, in three languages, and was composed in 13 countries on three continents.

Yet, in spite of all this diversity, the Bible contains a vast unity. This unity is so unique that the books of the Bible form a unit, such that the Bible is not a mere collection of books, it is just one Book.

Only an omniscient, all-controlling, all-directing architect could construct such a cosmic drama. Every single author in the Bible is in perfect harmony with all the other writers in the areas of doctrine, ethics, faith, and the plan of salvation.

One cannot even find a handful of books over a span of 1,500 years which all agree with one another without any conflicts whatsoever. Yet, all 66 books of the Bible are in perfect harmony.
