Investigate Christianity for Yourself

I spent the first twenty one years of my life as an atheist. I guess I would still be one today if I had not decided to try to prove that Christianity was false.
My journey began as a result of conversations with an intelligent Christian. Though I had never read the Bible or studied Christianity, I felt no need to do so because of a firm doubt of the existence of God. I was quite certain that there was no empirical evidence to support the claims for Christ.
Most Christians that I knew could not provide me with the facts and evidence needed to satisfy my skeptical mind. The reason that I never bothered to study Christianity was that I was convinced what was already there—nothing.
My motive for first studying the evidence for Christianity was actually to prove that it contained nothing of substance. I was convinced that Christians believed in God because they truly wanted to believe.
My story is radically different. I did not set out to study to become a Christian. If you are investigating Christianity for the first time you will be amazed at the massive amount of evidence.
Their is amazing evidence from science, history, archaeology, prophecy, as well as theological reasons for the case for Christianity. Perhaps you have been closed minded about Christianity in the past. I would highly recommend that serious investigators also add reading the entire Bible as a part of their study, especially the New Testament. I read the entire Bible cover to cover during my own investigation.
When I was an atheist, my primary basis of rejection was on intellectual grounds. However, I had never actually studied the primary evidence for Christianity. I was actually amazed at the massive amount of information that supports the case for Christianity. I discovered that I was previously wrong about Christianity because I did not have all the facts.
Many people will discover that they have not actually rejected Christianity on intellectual grounds, because they don’t even know what intellectual evidence exists. The truth is that many people have rejected Christianity without even knowing the evidence. In essence, they don’t even know what they are rejecting!
